16-Foot Rolling Scaffold Tower Package: $725*FREE SHIPPING TO ALL CONTINENTAL USA*This is one of our most popular and versatile packages. The deck is a fully
platformed 5 ft x 7 ft working or standing area located at a actual standing
height of 15 ft 10 inches. An average person should be able to reach to 23 ft or
better. 3 walkboards completely cover this 5 x 7 area. Each walkboard is 19
inches wide and 7 ft long for a perfect fit. The walkboards can be located at
any height from the ground to 16 ft every 12-15 inches so you can put a board at
the prefect height for any work. Included are 3 of our extremely popular Smith
solid steel walkboards. If I could suggest anything to make a package like this
better and more user friendly it's add 3 more walkboards or at least 1 or 2
more. You can't have too many boards in a scaffold tower. It's so nice to be
able to move around while working and having a platform in more than one place.
Our steel boards weigh only a few more lbs than alum/ply but cost considerably
less. They handle up to 5300 lbs (each) to collapse in load tests and the
package includes 3. A budget rail system is included for the top that covers all
4 sides. Rails are located waist and at knee height. We offer the ability to
upgrade to our deluxe rail package if you wish to do so. The basic difference
between the budget and deluxe safety rail package is stability. The deluxe has
toe boards, entry safety chains and is more stable. See accessories below for
that option. The tower rolls on 4 Smith industrial grade casters which weigh a
whopping 12 lbs each. They are ball bearing, greasable, and have a cast iron
center in the wheel with a 1 inch rubber overlay and steel body that's
galvanized. Caster jacks are a great option to further adjust the height or
level the rolling tower when on uneven ground. See below to order them. A
diagonal stability bar is included for rolling the tower around when the wheels
are not locked. It's like Prego...with this package..."it's all in there". All
pieces and parts needed to fully assemble and lock together this package are
included. All spring rivets, half moon pigtails, grouser bar, stack pins, safety
