Budget Stationary 30 ft Scaffolding Tower Package: $1149
All
towers are now upgraded to include Scaffoldmart's Super Premium, Severe
Duty, Alum/Ply walkboard! To read about them What to do when a 26 ft tower isn't high enough? Build one higher of course! We get asked constantly for higher towers than our standard smaller tower packages. This tower is approved to go with the 4 to 1 minimum base width rule to 31 ft. California’s rule is 3 to 1 so this tower is only good to 27 ft in California and some other states that adhere to the 3 to 1 rule. Code varies by state to state so please check your local code and be sure. Again please check your local code. If your state is 4 to 1 then this tower is not approved. We recommend if possible that you tie off http://www.scaffoldmart.com/tie-bar-swivel-couple.html any tower if possible as this is the safest way to use a tower. Use tie bars or guide wiring (seat belt strapping/tractor trailer type tie downs attached to each corner of tower 15 ft in the air extending outward like a tent strap. You can never be too safe. This tower must be used on level concrete or an equivalent hard level surface. If surface is unlevel you must make sure you have and use level jacks are securely positioned and cannot move or slip and that tower is completely leveled and squared before adding additional levels. A dead level rock solid foundation is the key to a safe scaffold platform. Our 30 ft tower has a platform height that is an actual 29.33 ft plus the upward adjustability of another ft with the jack. In other words your feet will be standing at this height so the working height (where your head is located) is an actual 37 ft. You might need oxygen at that height! We include our budget safety rail system with a male post for increased stability vs competitive towers that use a female safety pole. Three Scaffoldmart alum/ply 7ft walkboards completely platform and cover the top 5 ft x 7 ft area. Pigtails are included to lock the entire tower together and level jacks are provided to give a solid level foundation. Included:
4 Sets of 5 x 6 ft 6 in ladder type scaffolding Upgraded Budget Stationary 30 ft Scaffolding Tower Package: $1481.10 Walkboards upgraded from steel to severe duty alum/ply. This helps as it’s a long way up to the top installing everything and they are about 10 lbs lighter. 3 extra boards included. 4 tie bars included. Included:
4 Sets of 5 x 6 ft 6 in ladder type scaffolding Recommended Accessories:
Extra walkboards: These are unbelievably useful when building a tall tower upwards. It allows you to stand on one level and lift from below a couple of boards and then lift them up to the next level and actually have somewhere to place them. It also allows you to have a place to stand while doing this. We recommend you add at least 3 more boards and 5 or 6 extra isn’t out of the question. Only later after you are using this tower will you realize this isn’t a sales pitch and that you actually did really need extra board... Steel: http://www.scaffoldmart.com/scaffold-walkboard.html Alum/Ply: http://www.scaffoldmart.com/aluminum-plywood-walkboards.html All Alum: http://www.scaffoldmart.com/all-aluminum-board-7ft.html Tie Bar with Swivel Coupler: http://www.scaffoldmart.com/tie-bar-swivel-couple.html 4 of these with 2 installed at 16 ft and 2 more at the 31 ft height. This makes the tower dead rock solid and safe.
