If you are
west of the Mississippi River, Wheels will be shipped flat rate USPS, so we will
need the address at which you receive your mail. If you are east of the
Mississippi River, your wheels will be shipped FedEx. As always, we strive to get you the best
shipping rates possible!
Here’s the
lowdown on our caster. We have now sold in excess of 30,000 of these. This
wheel is very heavy duty. The steel body is not quite as beefy as the more
expensive one below but it’s plenty of wheel for 95% of all applications. Works
very nicely in highly demanding rental operations. It loads to 8100 lbs in
load tests which actually higher than the below wheel……
The stem on our caster this caster wheel is 1
3/8th" outer diameter with a 4-inch length. It has a double safety margin built
into the load rating. Our wheel is Heavy Duty, load tested to handle 500 lbs
with a 8-to-1 safety margin. (See ourscaffolding

The scaffold caster wheel
is an 8" cast-iron wheel with a rubber overlay that is 2 inches wide and over an
inch of rubber covering the iron caster wheel. There are ball bearings in the
pivot mechanism to handle high loading. Double zirk grease fittings. Double lock
to maintain rock solidness. Locks to prevent wheel pivot and locks to prevent
the scaffold caster wheel from rolling. Upper steel body is galvanized. Hole
location on stem is 2.5 inches from the base. In short….why pay more?

Tab is large enough to support your weight which we don't recommend
using full body weight to lock wheel. But it's strong enough to
